The casino everyone calls the Wisconsin Dells casino has a Baraboo postal address, and the reason it sits where it does is older than the waterparks, the duck boats and the interstate. The Ho-Chunk people were relocated away from this land, and many kept coming back. In 1873, according to the Wisconsin Dells visitor bureau, the Ho-Chunk Nation re-established a permanent presence in the Dells, and it still owns land here today, including the site of the casino. So when you pull off Interstate 90/94 at Exit 92, you are not visiting a tribe's distant outpost. You are on ground the Nation has held for more than 150 years.

Read the hours before you drive
This is the detail that trips up first-time visitors. The casino floor is open 24 hours from Thursday through Monday, but on Tuesday and Wednesday it runs only from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. Live tables keep shorter hours again: from 2 p.m. to midnight on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. at weekends. A family arriving in the Dells on a Tuesday evening and planning a late blackjack session will find the pit already closed.
The floor
The resort describes more than 1,000 slots and table games across the floor. The live pit covers the standard trio of blackjack, craps and roulette plus 5 Treasures Baccarat, Four Card Poker and Mississippi Stud. The resort does not list a poker room. Bingo at 18
Bingo runs Wednesday to Saturday with sessions from 5:30 p.m., and it is the one part of the property open to 18, 19 and 20-year-olds. The casino floor and the hotel desk both require 21. For groups on a Dells holiday with a member under 21, the bingo hall is the only gaming space you can all share.

The hotel has 302 rooms across Premier, Deluxe, Executive and VIP Suite categories, with an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and free wifi. The check-in age is 21 on the day of arrival, which matters for younger couples booking a Dells weekend around the waterparks: someone in the party has to meet it.
The 49-site RV park is the property's least-known feature. It offers pull-through and back-in sites in Premier and Deluxe grades and runs seasonally, opening in mid-April, which makes the casino a practical base for a camping trip through the Dells area rather than just an evening stop.
For conferences, the Upper and Lower Dells ballrooms each seat up to 1,000 people; the Lower ballroom alone covers 13,299 square feet.
